It’s not only RTÉ that ignores climate change the national media in general do not appear to take it seriously and it is notoriously difficult to get coverage of events or opinions in the printed press.
It is not clear why this should be. The Paris climate summit, COP21 and the senior scientists’ report from IPCC, made it very evident that globally there is a serious problem and that no nation can afford to ignore this issue. This includes Ireland, so why are we not stepping up to the mark?
