Would you like to help with our missions and campaigns?

We are always looking for supporters!

There are three ways in which you can support GEAI:

  1. Subscribe to our Newsletter
  2. Become a GEAI Member
  3. Become a GEAI Volunteer

Subscribe to our Newsletter to keep up with our glocal activities, campaigns and events happening in Leitrim and in the rest of Ireland, focused on climate action.

Become a GEAI Member

  • You will join our “Circle of Friends”, with automatic subscription to our Newsletter and invitations to attend GEAI general meetings, events, campaigns and trainings (including First Aid, Social Media).
  • You will have the right to attend our Annual General Meeting (AGM) and be nominated on to the Board of Directors if you wish.
  • As a Friend of GEAI, you can, if you wish, get involved in the organisation of our events and campaigns as well as participating in these. Such support is always most welcome.

On becoming a Member, you will receive a Pack with Certificate of Membership, official GEAI badge, and tips on energy-efficiency and lowering electricity bills. We are currently exploring the possibility of organising a discount scheme for Members among renewable electricity suppliers and other retailers.

Become a GEAI Volunteer

GEAI volunteers work with us on a regular basis, from a few hours per month to days per week.  Our volunteers join our team and are involved in every aspect of what we do.  Each volunteer chooses how they want to be involved and how long they want to commit.

Volunteer tasks can range from writing emails and Facebook posts, to art work, e.g. designing posters and placards; from updating databases to hospitality for visitors.

GEAI volunteers are automatically members.
