I retired to Ireland from the UK in 2002 at the end of a long career in healthcare.
My worklife experience led me to evolve from a specialist nurse to a clinical teacher, into healthcare management, to Board level voluntary posts in Further Education and on into community mediation whilst running a small antiques business with my disabled husband and raising two sons.
In my 18 years living in Ireland I’ve participated in, and remain involved with, a number of community and voluntary groups both locally and at County level and became involved with Good Energies Alliance Ireland in 2014 after the death of my second husband.
It’s been my privilege to act as Chair of the board of directors of GEAI for a number of years and be involved with the fantastic Erasmus+ volunteers that we, as an organisation, have hosted.
