Good Energies Alliance Ireland is proud to announce that Anna McTiernan has joined our team as a new Director.
Anna is no stranger to GEAI. For the past year, she was employed as Part-time Project Coordinator for the organisation, supervising our European Volunteers and successfully co-ordinating the international Youth Participation project that we carried out with Lough Allen College in Drumkeeran.
It was an intense year: new faces, new ideas, new projects and shared experiences. New volunteers became part of the project; new mentors and new energies transformed GEAI’s path into the future. Anna was there throughout it all and played a big role in supporting everyone involved – European volunteers, local volunteers, project participants and mentors.
With great regret, Anna’s GEAI year came to an end and she has now returned to new responsibilities in Leitrim Development Company. We wish her every success for the future.
However, this is not a goodbye! Anna has agreed to join our Board of Directors in order to support our organisation’s aims and projects and all on the GEAI team are delighted.
“When I started my year with GEAI I could never have imagined how much it would impact me. GEAI is made of people, moments, and experiences that I’ll bring forever with me,” said Anna.
“Accepting this new role means keeping in touch and believing in what we are creating together, even as everything changes and evolves.”
The GEAI Board of Directors welcomes Anna and looks forward to many years of successful collaboration and genuine friendship with her.
With Anna on the Board, we are ensuring continuity among the GEAI staff and volunteers and closer ties to our local community and events.
