We are delighted to officially welcome Mahmoud Bondin to the team at
Good Energies Alliance Ireland as our new Project Coordinator!
Mahmoud joins GEAI having relocated to Ireland from Malta with his
family in October 2025, bringing with him a wealth of experience
across human resources, youth work, and social care. Most recently, he
worked as an Employee Business Partner with the Malta Financial
Services Authority, and before that spent several years in residential
care, supporting young people and helping them achieve positive
outcomes in their lives. He also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Health
and Social Care Management, giving him strong foundations in
leadership, community engagement, and service development.
This diverse background makes Mahmoud a natural fit for GEAI’s mission
of promoting climate action, sustainable energy, environmental
protection, education, advocacy, and community development, while
supporting the wellbeing of people and communities. His experience
in building relationships and coordinating projects from start to finish
will help strengthen these initiatives and further GEAI’s work in the
community.

contribution to GEAI’s work,” said Mahmoud. “My family and I are
incredibly grateful for the warm welcome we have received since making
Ballinaglera our new home. The kindness, generosity, and community
spirit we have experienced have made us feel truly at home.”
Mahmoud’s dedication, international perspective, and commitment to
community continue to bring positive energy to GEAI, and we are very
happy to have him with us on this new journey.
